TRADITIONAL COTTAGE GARDEN
This cottage feel garden is actually built in an awkward L-shaped new build plot. The brief was to create a couple of seating areas amongst quintessential cottage planting.
There is a fire pit seating area adjacent to the folding doors of the dining room which is finished in a Raj Green sandstone and brick detail that matches the house brick. A brick paver path then crosses a small lawn space with a bbq stand to a raised seating area under a bespoke timber pergola. There are two painted rose arches the create doorways into each room, but the second also conceals a telegraph support cable.
Along the rear fence line bespoke batten trellising panels break up the expanse of fencing. There are a number of Clematis and Trachelopsermum planted to climb these as they mature.
